EPW - Dent, 61 Strand & 34 Royal Exchange, London, tandem-winding keyless lever with independent dead-beating center-seconds, 54mm, very heavy 18K gold original HC bearing London hallmarks for 1873, "A N" marking in oval cameo for casemaker Adolph Nicole, "Nicolas Rgevsky" engraved inside rear, slide on band at 4 to stop/start independent center-seconds, white enamel SS dial, SW-pin-set with Nicole Nielsen keyless winding system, fully capped lever escapement with counterpoise, possibly 25J, gilt mvt, s#36208 with matching serial number to case and dial. Gross weight of assembled watch 93.7 dwt (145.8 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, good stop/start center-seconds function, fine-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, plates with few fine scratches, winding mechanism steelwork with oxide spots; dial with hl from center to edge at 2:30, hl from edge at 6:30 extending to bottom of seconds-register; fine hands; case shows light wear, short vertical scratch at left perimeter of front, some scattered fine scratches, scattered pinpoint nicks, no dents or dings; tight bow, crown shows medium wear; good glass crystal.
